Stigmata: Faith & Fury

Stigmata: Faith & Fury is a submission to  the Game Design Guild's July Jam with the pitch of "Within a Vast and Ancient Structure." Taking some liberties with the pitch, and a project on the backburner, and I made this: A Christo-Cyberpunk ascent in the Tower of Babel to Kill Satan.

The main mechanic is a "Roll & Write" system of performing actions to roll dice, and assigning those dice to the PLETHORA of Demons trying to murder you. However, the catch is that your Crusaders are incredibly fragile making a bad moment of getting caught out of position a death sentence. So I integrated a bit of Rouge-Lite mechanics of constantly refreshing fallen comrades at the elevators of your ascent through the Tower of Babel itself.

The only thing assisting the Crusaders in their quest is their faith, arms, and Stigmata, holy cybernetics granting them an edge in the fight against the demonic hordes. Oh, and most everything is randomized about Stigmata and Attributes, so none of your Crusaders will ever quite be the same.
