Pojedynek Kobiet

Pojedynek Kobiet (Po-ya-den-ek Co-bee-et) is a game of two distinct parts, each of which is an important part of its "DNA" one may say.

1) Songs of Swords Rip Off

Song of Swords is an odd duck more than anything to me, as its a game that tries to do a lot with a fanatical fanbase. I enjoy what it sets out to do, but every time I actually see it played" its these one-on-one duels and fights with people saying how "realistic" and "gritty" it is. Then the dwarf shows up and caves in someone's kneecaps. I like it, I just want it to commit to its roots. So I decided to make my own, an idea that's been bubbling in my primal lizard brain for a while. 

2) Game Design Guild Game Jam 

My comrades over at the Game Design Guild are hosting a game jam to celebrate the third anniversary, so I wanted to participate. The main issue is that a majority of the projects slated were either entirely based on existing IPs or worse, reduxes of old projects. So to satisfy the requirements of a NEW AND ORIGINAL (yes, you can laugh after mentioning point two)  game Pojedynek Kobiet was brought from the backburner to the spotlight.

So, in conclusion, Pojedynek Kobiet is a game based on a fragile idea of "Formal Sword Fighting with Relationship Drama" to satisfy a deadline. I make no promises of quality. Tally Ho!
