PIGS (The Ashcan Edition)

It's been a century since the Gate back to Sol closed, many believed it was punishment for their crimes, others believed it was bound to happen. The United Solar Directorates (USD) of the Alahun system were, at best, regarded with disdain by the Terran Autocracy back in Sol, as all of them were descended directly from prisoners, guards, and exiled families. However, others debate that it was the Xep (a bastardization of Xeno Predator), an invasive, predatory, species of aliens that inhabited the side of the galaxy they were on.

And after a long, bloody, war. We won. The only way we were able is through the use of PIGS, Pilot Intelligence Guided Suits, jury rigged and mass produced power armor able to weather the storm of the Xep and deal it right back. If the Pilots made it back, even better. 

The Xep proved to be nightmarish to fight, but with the EMBeD (Electro-Magnetic Buoy Defense) system operation across the core worlds, humanity has a fighting chance. After the initial fighting ended, that should have been the end, but greed and power have a funny way of influencing people. PIGS Pilots became a hot commodity, two generations lived, and died, with the use of these engines of war. Industry couldn't slow down either.

So, they found a war to fight.

PIGS was born out of a "Can I?" more than a "Should I?" Trying to formulate a game from a D100 System as well as trying to emulate certain "Horde Mode" shooters. The result was "Starcraft Zerg Rush, but You're all Firebats" which . . . works? The game and its systems are all there, but equipment is severely lacking. Generally speaking there isn't many more variations of "Gun that Shoots Fast" I could throw in there. And the idea of PIGS dried up after the initial batch. 

It's there, but just needs "more stuff" more than anything.
