Henshin, Hero! : The Preproduction

Henshin, Hero! Forever is about the the life, death, and costume changes of a group of HENSHIN HEROES as they must thwart the forces of EVIL before the end of the episode.
Of course, they need to follow the script and listen to the producer. We're on a budget here people and it's not cheap filming on location. No, we don't have the good catering service today, Steve is making a run to Burger Mart.
Players take the role of Actors, Henshin Heroes, and Writers who all make the hit series HENSHIN HEROES (tm). They'll need to play to their tropes, fight the villains, and try to make the Producers happy with their perfectly normal requests or listen to their increasingly reasonable demands.
The Game itself is a D6 Dicepool emphasizing using parts of the Character, Actor, and the Set to tell a convincing story of teenagers with attitude who may or may not be in their 30s. Together they will transform (or Henshin for our European audiences) into our titular heroes and sucker punch Mark in that horrible costume wardrobe put him in this episode.
After the Episode wraps up, the Writer's Room convenes and starts plotting out the next episode of the series, trying to figure out where this plot is going. At least that's the plan anyway.

When I say I have it done, it's actually mostly done. I just need quite a bit more cleaning up and have an actual layout person to help with it. Everything is made by me here, no Generative AI or outside help outside a small group of friends.

Henshin, Hero shows a lot of promise for being put together in a cave with a box of scraps. The effort and thought put into making sure that the game supports the pitch of 'Play actors who are playing knockoff Power Rangers' is obvious.
